Vegan vending machines could soon start popping up around San Francisco! Yes, you read that right. leCupboard, which currently operates an all-vegan kitchen storefront in Noe Valley, recently announced plans to expand with mobile cupboards offering healthy plant-based meals to folks on the go.
Their menu offerings, currently sold in reusable glassware, include a wide variety of colorful salads loaded with hearty veggies and grains, zucchini noodles with pesto, chia pudding, and coconut yogurt parfait. And they’re seriously good-looking.

While the company hasn’t decided on locations for these new machines, Eater explains:

leCupboard’s social mission is “turning our food system rightside up.” That goal will also determine the placement of its mobile cupboards, a representative from the company says. Expect to find them in places where customers might not already have access to healthy food, like hospitals, offices, and food deserts.
